Whitley Bay Park View Christmas 2010 
People going Christmas shopping had to look twice when they expected to see Santa Claus so close to Christmas, instead they met characters from the Star Wars universe at the Park View Shopping Centre in Whitley Bay. Stormtroopers, Mara Jade, Tie Fighter Pilot and even a Tusken Raider braved the cold weather to help promote local services and raise money for Dreamflight.
Following the welcoming of families to the shopping centre by the 99th Garrison's Star Wars Characters, children were escorted by the Imperial Stromtroopers to meet their destiny........................... and see Santa!!
We would like to thank the 99th Garrison, North Tyneside Council and the Park View Shopping Centre staff that helped to raise £150 for Dreamflight.
