Off to Hogwarts

Today was a really special day for a lot of us - we have just come back from Islands of Adventure, home to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is the only place in the world where you can see the castle and experience walking through Hogsmede with all the shops from the books/movies. Not only did we ride on The Forbidden Journey, but we also tried Butter Beer (non-alcoholic of course!), bought wands, and I even saw one wand 'chose a Dreamflight child' (you had to be there!!).

Islands of adventure also has the best water rides in Orlando, and guarantee an absolute soaking. Jurassic Park, Dudley Do Right's Rip Saw Falls and Bluto's Barges left most of us looking for a dry patch! Add to this 3 more BIG rollercoasters, a stunt show, the incredible Spider Man ride and a heap of fun at Zeus Landing meant everyone had a brilliant day.

Tonight we had a proper 'knees-up' as it was our Western themed night, with dressing up in Cowboy gear and a little bit of line dancing - Yee Haa!! Yet more food accompanied our evening of fun before bed at 9pm. We can't believe it's Friday already, it's going so fast. Still, more Disney fun tomorrow at Disney's Hollywood Studios...
