Sunday 21st March was a big day in the running world for Dreamflight. A number of supporters got outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful weather while helping to raise important funds to ensure Dreamflight 2010 will go ahead.
This week you will hear a number of stories about the various groups taking part, starting with today's story from the Dream Girls!
Kelly Keating, Gillian Lloyd-Davies, Claire Nicholson, Louise Poulter, Joanne Eves, Natasha Schofield, Olga Gunnarsson, Joe Woodcraft and Julie Burton-Brown participated in the reading half marathon...that's a tremendous 13.1 miles that they each ran and have so far raised a massive £5145 for Dreamflight.
Kelly Keating, spokeswoman for the Dream Girls said:
"It was an incredible day and I can honestly say one of the best days of my life, spent with the best bunch of girls, raising money for the best reason. A totally brilliant day and the crowds in Reading were just incredible in keeping us going."
