How did you celebrate turning 18?

Dreamflighter Louis Gale celebrated his 18^th birthday in style by hosting a glamorous charity ball to raise money for Dreamflight.

With the help of Mum Teresa, Dad Ernie, Step Dad Steve and other family members, the hall at St Mary’s Middle School in Dorset was transformed into a beautiful ballroom for the occasion.  Family and friends joined Louis and his family wearing black tie and sparkling ball-gowns.

During Louis’ speech he said:

‘Tonight is not just about celebrating my birthday.  It is also about supporting Dreamflight because I had such a good time when Dreamflight took me to Orlando 5 years ago.  I flew on a special flight and enjoyed going to the theme parks.  The volunteers helped us to use rides and participate in activities and made it an amazing experience.’

Louis raised a whopping £2532 at his 18^th Birthday Ball, which will enable other children to enjoy the amazing experience that he did.  Dreamflight are most grateful for Louis' most generous support.
