99th Garrison raises £450 for Dreamflight

Shoppers looked on in amazement at Tesco's in Wath Upon Dearne on the 25th Sept 2010, when they thought that they had been invaded by Imperial Stormtroopers from the Dark Side of the Force. 

Members of the 99th Garrison and Dreamflight’s local Dolphin group, (Jo Ridley, group leader and Nigel Brooke, group doctor) attended as well to help the Stormtroopers show their softer, kinder side by persuading shoppers to part with their spare cash and make a donation to Dreamflight. 

The group were also delighted to be joined by Jack, one of the lucky children that went on the magical holiday of a lifetime with Dreamflight in October this year. 

Once the shoppers had got over their initial shock, they donated generously and a grand total of £450.00 was collected, paying for two children to swim with the dolphins on the Dreamflight holiday in 2011.

Dreamflight are most grateful for the ongoing support they receive from the members of the 99th Garrison.
